Mr. Lombardo has been a member of the Board since the Alliance’s inception in 2004 and was the first Chairman where he served in that role until 2019. Mr. Lombardo is the President and CEO of C. J. Lombardo Real Estate Company of Hackensack.\u00a0 Mr. Lombardo graduated Tenafly High School and went on to earn a degree in Business Management from the University of Dayton. He then returned to the family business located in Hackensack where he became the second generation working with his father C. Jerome Lombardo\u2019s real estate business.<\/p>\n

He has spent the better part of his lifetime working at his company\u2019s headquarters in Hackensack. He now has over 40 years\u2019 experience as a Licensed R.E. Broker in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the company slowly transitioned from brokerage and appraisals to equity ownership. The company currently owns and manages a portfolio of commercial, shopping center, hotel, and office properties as well as over four thousand multi-family residential units located in properties throughout the northeast and south.<\/p>\n

Mr. Lombardo has served on many boards including several North Jersey Banks, the New Jersey Apartment Association, the Wyckoff Zoning Board of Adjustment, (former Chairman) and the Bergen County Community Action Partnership. In addition, he is currently serving as an advisory director of Lakeland Bank.\u00a0 In 2004, he was elected as the Chairman of Hackensack\u2019s Main Street Business Alliance where he and many others have devoted countless hours working to revitalize the Central Business District.<\/p>\n

He considers Hackensack his true home and is deeply passionate and proud of what has been accomplished there. He has been married to Rosanne for forty-plus years and has three children, Andrew, Jerome, and Valerie and is greatly enjoying his five grandchildren.
